Hello again my dear fellow 'Evolutionaries'! Being a while since posting to the group Journal, I thought it was about time to share a few pieces of exceptional artwork featured in our group, and bring both new and senior members up-to-date with new submission criteria and limits.

Due to the surge in members and artwork submissions, new limits and requirements are now active to be included in the galleries. I believe that these recent changes to the group will positively influence the quality, cohesion, and equality that everyone in CE deserves.

Criteria:
Moving into a new phase of the groups development, I think it is important to reiterate the groups general theme. While our admins are very liberal, artwork/photography must fit 'Cognitive-Evolution' in some respect. While highly debatable, this means artworks must be imaginative, unique, surreal, or invoke deep metaphysical thought. All subjects and mediums are accepted as long as they accurately symbolize our group and its message.

New Submission Limits:

Members: 3 Per Week (All Folders)
Contributors: 5 Per Week (All Folders)

With all that said, here is a buffet of recent work that perfectly encapsulates what CE is all about. Thanks again to all our members and supporters, catch you again on the great ethereal! - VariouslyVaried

I think that it is good that you have a curatorial perspective in mind, and that you recognize and call out that even though a work might be solid on its own merits, it might just be the case that it doesn't connect or "fit" in that particular delivery to the intended audience. Nothing wrong with that - it makes the overall collection  (and group) stronger and more valid. It also provides useful constructive critique to the artist. Good work!
